Red Rock Canyon
by Krishna on Jun.16, 2009, under photography
This past weekend, I made a trip out to Red Rock Canyon with my brother and a friend. The canyon is about a 1 hr drive outside of Vegas and has stunning scenery. The hills there are composed on rocks of 3 different shared (gray, yellow and red) and are very fun to hike/boulder. I saw a bunch of people rock-climbing there too. Must go back for another visit soon.
The picture below is 360 panorama from the top of one of the rock outcroppings.

Nice. How did you shoot the Pano and post to Google?

I used a combination of tools. The first one is Adobe Lightroom which I use to correct exposure and color on all the pictures, then I use Hugin to stitch it all together into one huge picture and then use Image cutter to convert it into a Google maps tileset.
