Hwy 1

Took a trip out to Ventura to figure out how to get to the Channel Islands. Seems like there are plenty of tours available.. just have to wake up at 5 am on a weekend.. bleh. Gonna try to arrange something in the next few weeks.
On the way back, I drove along Hwy 1 and enjoyed the highway between Ventura and Santa Monica. I almost had the whole highway to myself; no traffic at all.

Thats the plan. I will only be visiting one island. Haven’t decided which one yet but the boat trip from Ventura was around $48 round-trip. Interested in joining?

Those sunset shots are really pretty. I am jealous of your lack of traffic too!!! Thanks for such a fun time
