More HDR Experiments

Caught a cold when I went to Utah. Change in temperature and weather probably got to me. But, that gave me some time to play with some of my older shots and see what HDR’s I could make.
Here is one I took at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. I took the pictures in the early afternoon. Not one of my fav. pictures but the HDR combination looked interesting. Still can’t decide if I like the colors in the original version better than the HDR.

That is really neat to see the differences between the two pics. Impressive…though when it comes to stuff like this I am easily impressed. No idea how hard it is to this.

Most of the hard work for HDR composition is already done for me. There are some very good HDR algorithms out there to choose from that combine all the pictures and let you adjust contrast, dynamic range and about 10 other parameters.
The hard part is still the actual photography … find something to photograph, frame the scene, minimize movement, optimize lighting etc etc.
